As you may or may not have noticed, we’re running a new header at the top of the page here at Vox Informa. The new header is designed to give attention to some more of the featured material we’re working with and on. In this case, the latest bit of big news is that Vox Informa member and contributor David A. Romero has just self-published his first book of poetry, “Diamond Bars.” At the top of the page you’ll find a direct link to an online store where you can purchase his book (featuring photographs by Gene Shockley).

Hey podcast listeners, this is just an announcement that I’ve completed work on a fantastic new podcast player for listening to all of our episodes directly through the website. Browse on over to the podcast page to give it a try and let us know what you think.
The Vox Informa Podcast is on a slight break for the moment, but keep your eyes opened for a special episode coming up around the bend to coincide with a group landmark.
Our own Matt Sedillo is currently competing at the National Poetry Slam in Florida for the Lionlike MindState Slam team. Besides Matt Sedillo, the Lionlike team consists of Treesje, Shane Romero, Superb, and The Prototype, and is coached by Judah 1 of Lionlike MindState. They’re currently advancing to the semi-finals. Wish them luck!
Due to some changes on our server, all of our social network plugins were failing to update for quite some time. Fortunately, I’ve finally sorted it out so facebook, myspace, and twitter updates should all now resume.
Our very own Matt Sedillo is scheduled to speak in an interview on internet radio site Swagg City Radio today at 12:00 Pacific. He’ll be representing the inland empire poetry slam team, so give it a listen.
Hey everybody, as you can see there is a new design up for the site. I spent about three or four weeks on this one (Much less time than the last design) and I think the results are better in almost every way. We’re going with a much cleaner look this time around and what will hopefully be a more usable layout overall, for readers and contributors.
Check out our latest content and let us know what you think.
I’ve got a photoset for your viewing pleasure from our latest VoxInforma meetup. I don’t even technically appear in these photos as I was the photographer all night, but this does provide a glimpse of our organizational process and how we function as a collective (particularly the shots where we’re drinking).
This is also an unofficial plug for our flickr account. Follow our photostream! We’ll continue to use this account for documentary/recreational photos and videos relating to VoxInforma.
Yet another networking update for the day, VoxInforma is now also on Twitter! This service may be less familiar to some of you, but within a year or two you’ll supposedly all be using it, so let’s jump the gun if we can.
You can find our page on Twitter at http://twitter.com/voxinforma. For those of you who follow us on facebook, you’ll see our twitter updates there
